The Real Wikileaks

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? “I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.” For [the Lord] views the ends of the earth and sees everything under the heavens. ________________________________________ "His eyes are on the ways of men; he sees their every step. ________________________________________ The LORD knows the thoughts of man; he knows that they are futile. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books. Revelation 20:12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as late figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wi

Time To Give Thanks

I will exalt you, my God the King; I will praise your name for ever and ever. Every day I will praise you and extol your name for ever and ever. Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts. They speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty— and I will meditate on your wonderful works. They tell of the power of your awesome works— and I will proclaim your great deeds. They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. All your works praise you, LORD; your faithful people extol you. They tell of the glory of your kingdom and speak of your might, so that all people may know of your mighty acts and the glorious splendor of your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures through all gener

The Prince is the Groom

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. ________________________________________ I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. ________________________________________ Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. ________________________________________ For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love a

A Journey Made Near

Jesus continued: “There was a man who had two sons. The younger one said to his father, ‘Father, give me my share of the estate.’ So he divided his property between them. “Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything. “When he came to his senses, he said, ‘How many of my father’s hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men.’ So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was st

In Memoriam: Yacob Aga Ollie, 1972 - 2010

Date: Saturday, November 6, 2010, 4:45 AM Dearest all EKHC partners and friends, RE: Our dearest Brother Yacob Aga Ollie: The EKHC global missionary to South Sudan, esteemed member of Kera KHC in Wolayita region has served in the EKHC global mission field since March 2006 to October 2010. With much sadness, we received the news of the falling asleep in Christ of our beloved brother, Yacob Aga Ollie (3/8/72—10/25/2010) who fell ill with cerebral malaria on October 24 and was promoted to heaven on 25 October 2010. Death in human experience has never been easy, whether it comes in youth or in old age, whether it comes suddenly or after a long illness, it always leaves in its wake sorrow, tears, loneliness and longing. But our Lord, who has conquered death by his own death, proved to us that beyond Calvary, there is the empty tomb and all of us, if we live the way Brother Yacob Aga Ollie the EKHC missionary lived, will be with Christ in His heavenly kingdom. During the past four and half y
